Today, Farm Radio International is launching the Scriptwriting Competition on Smallholder Farmer Innovation. On this website you will find all information you need about the competition.
The Scriptwriting Competition is open to organizations and individuals working with radio in Africa. Broadcasters, radio stations, production organizations, radio projects, farmers’ associations with a radio show, etc. are all invited to submit their radio scripts to Farm Radio International before November 1, 2009.
An online training course, starting August 24, will help participants write their scripts and improve their radio skills. A number of prizes, from digital audio recorders to participation in conferences will be awarded to the authors of winning scripts. The best scripts will be published in English and French and distributed to hundreds’ of radio organizations across sub-Saharan Africa.
